Honda PCX 125

The Honda PCX 125 was my little runabout. I bought it due to the legendary Honda long-term reliability and excellent build quality. Although well cared for, she immediately starts with just a touch of the keyless ignition, regardless of how long it has been since the last ride, and runs flawlessly. What surprised me was how practical the under-saddle storage is. It easily takes a large full-face helmet with extra space for groceries. Furthermore, the comfort and ride performance are excellent for a small bike, easily maintaining a steady 60 mph with great fuel economy—officially around 133 mpg (about 2.1 L/100 km), which I believe I experienced. Key features: Practically Like New: She was owned by two ‘old men’ who cared exceptionally for her. There is no mark on her, as she would never have toppled over on her stand. Low Mileage & Road Tax: only 24,500 km, Road Tax to 2-2026. Quality Build and Comfort: The bike provides a stable, comfortable ride for both rider and passenger. The E-Starter allows for easy ignition, and the twist-and-go V-Matic (CVT) automatic makes for effortless riding. The LCD instrumentation is easy to read. Advanced Safety Features: Its front-wheel ABS makes a significant difference. It stops quickly and straight. Modern Convenience: The Smart Key system (keyless ignition, fuel cap, and seat opening), USB Type-C charging port, LED lighting make it a joy to use, and immobilisation. Added Windscreen for Protection: After my first year, my only modification was the MOTOPLASTIC windscreen, which significantly improved ride comfort, handling, and fuel economy. I retained the original screen, should you wish to revert to the original setup, but it is a great screen that adds to the bike in every way. In summary, it is a great bike that strikes a balance between reliability, performance, practicality, and safety. I was truly impressed and only letting her go because the motorcycle is no longer needed.
