Irish Blood Custom Motorcycles “Bueller” Remember the classic movie “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off”? Remember the scene in which the teacher is doing roll call and drones “Beuller, Beuller, Beuller, Beuller”? Well that’s where this custom motorcycle got its name and that famous drone is written along the tank! We’ve taken a perfectly good, original spec, undamaged stock Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 and Frankenstiened it with a Buell XB12. In case you’re not aware, Buell were a subsidiary brand of Harley-Davidson that made sporty street bikes up until 2009. Look ‘em up! They made some really interesting bikes. The Sportster motor generally makes about 50bhp, but we replaced the top-end with that of a Buell XB12 1200cc. With this and the high flow exhaust, we’d estimate this bike to now produce roughly 105bhp! This machine is more than the sum of its parts and genuinely, the photos do not do it justice. Here’s the spec rundown: Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Custom frame, swingarm, seat, motor (bottom-end), drive & rear wheel. Buell XB12 front end – upside-down forks, wheel, rim-mounted brakes, handlebars, headlight and fly screen. Buell 1200cc motor top-end Two Brothers 2 into 1 reverse cone exhaust Dynatek electronic ignition Moto Gadget electronic control module and custom harness Custom rear lighting Harley-Davidson 15” rear shocks High Flow Breather King Sportster petrol tank Short, high fenders front and back Custom clear coat paintwork & black rear wheel.
