Kawasaki VN700 1985

Selling this at a loss. Would suit a collector or someone who knows alittle about bikes. I rushed in to buy this bike after my ibt, and it has mostly sat since. Can't get the carburators tuned right at all. The bike starts and drives, but runs like crap. It is chopping/jerking at cruising speed. I bought this for 2500 and spent 600 having the carburator rebuild and a full service including the shaft oil. I am hopeing to get some of my money back out of her so i can save again for a more modern bike so i can get out and practice for my test. Bike is on vintage plates and tyres are fairly good. I have put a sealed battery with high cold cranking power in it. Can struggle to restart once hot, but have found in the forums that this is common and fixable with the pickup coil mod, can be seen on checkerfloor garage on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKGKjh1L9Ao). Im just tired of putting time into this bike and want to get out riding. The throttle return cable is snapped, but it is only a safetly extra and will still ride fine. House there for new one to be added back. Again someone with bike knowledge will know. A manifold can be bought on ebay, or made, to convert to single carburator. May sort some of its problems, im just not spending anymore money on her. Selling for 2500 but open to reasonable offers. Just want to move her along and start again.
