Kawasaki VN700 1985

(add coming down this week, ordered carburetor to convert to single carburetor setup) Selling this at a loss. Would suit a collector or someone who knows alittle about bikes. I rushed in to buy this bike after my ibt, and it has mostly sat since. Can't get the carburators tuned right at all. The bike starts and drives, but runs like crap. It is chopping/jerking at cruising speed (60 and 80km holding throttle). Just not enjoyable to ride. I bought this for 2500 and spent 600 having the carburator rebuild and a full service including the shaft oil. I am hopeing to get some of my money back out of her so i can save again for a more modern bike so i can get out and practice for my test. Bike is on vintage plates(tax 26 euro a year) and tyres are fairly good. I have put a sealed battery with high cold cranking power in it. Im just tired of putting time into this bike and want to get out riding. The throttle return cable is snapped, but it is only a safetly extra and will still ride fine, throttle cable fine. Again someone with bike knowledge will know. A manifold can be bought on ebay, or made, to convert to single carburator. May sort some of its problems, im just not spending anymore money on her. (Update - have the custom made manifold instead of telling you about it. Will be sold with the bike.) Selling for 1800 but open to reasonable offers. Just want to move her along and start again.
