Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 2V (4V) Black with ABS

Reliable, ride anywhere Italian Moto, built to last. Great handling bike. Used for long spins including touring, serviced by myself with appropriate attention to details. Mature, technically minded owners (myself and the previous retired enthusiast). Similar to other Guzzi models like the Griso, Breva, Norge, Stelvio. I also ride a 1200 Sport 4V (8V) from 2010 with twice the mileage (which runs just as well), so you can compare both bikes side by side if you are interested in having a look. One of the great design features of the engine is the thermostatically controlled oil cooling system - the engine oil circulates through the oil cooler only after reaching its optimum temperature, which is typically 7-8 km after starting from cold. The average fuel consumption is around 5 l/100 km and even less on a long spin. No faults on the bike. It is in great technical condition. Comes with the service book and a pile of invoices (mainly for service consumables), two keys and the instruction manual. The engine (2V/cyl., twin spark), as well as the rest of the drivetrain, is very smooth, the tyres are in good condition, same for brakes, etc. No oil leaks, no smoke, no oil consumption (or so little that you would barely notice between service intervals). Cosmetically it looks fine too, although you may find some room for improvements if you are very picky in that area. At the last service I have inspected the valve-train and adjusted valve clearances (photo of the engine head attached). New spark plugs, air filter, gear oils on both ends (gearbox and the final drive unit), engine oil and filter. The brake and clutch fluid will be done soon. All fluids and consumables are very high quality (synthetic oils, genuine filters). I have also balanced the throttle bodies with vacuum gauges and have completed the TPS reset (throttle position sensor), cleaned and lubricated the lever hinges, adjusted cable plays, plus other minor improvements a typical enthusiast would do.
