Moto Guzzi Breva V1200 / 1200 Sport ABS 2V

A lovely Italian sports tourer, this Breva V1200 has been fitted with several genuine Sport 1200 components, including the original windscreen and the seat with the matching removable pillion seat cover. It is equipped with the genuine centre stand, rear wheel hugger, factory heated grips, and a functional set of panniers that operate with the same ignition key (can be offered without them), making this beautiful motorcycle a fantastic cross-country gentleman's express. The bike comes with the original owner's manual and a spare key. Importantly, it has been carefully serviced and maintained by mature owners throughout its life—currently by myself, and previously by an older Moto Guzzi enthusiast. In May, all fluids were replaced, including the engine, gearbox, and final drive oils, the oil filter, air filter, outer spark plugs, clutch fluid, and brake fluid. I also balanced the throttle bodies, performed a TPS reset, and cleaned and greased the lever pivots and hinges, along with other routine maintenance, all in accordance with the factory service schedule. The Guzzi has been used mainly for longer rides and touring. The mileage is very low for one of these machines, and these engines are widely regarded as only being properly run in after around 30,000 km. They are exceptionally durable and built to last. I also own its very close relative, a 1200 Sport 4V of the same model year, with more than four times the mileage. It runs just as well, uses no oil between services, and has had no major mechanical issues. There are no mechanical or other issues with this bike. It runs beautifully, and on its most recent long journey it returned an average fuel consumption of just 4.6 L/100 km. This is the final version of the 1,151 cc two-valve-per-cylinder engine. It also features the attractive grey-faced instruments and the updated switchgear fitted to the later models, details that Moto Guzzi enthusiasts will appreciate.
