For sale. 2008 Yamaha XT660Z Tenere. The almighty Tenere, possibly the last generation of analog adventure bikes. No electronics other than EFI and simple to work on. I bought this bike with great plans to see the world, in reality it has been a great bike to explore my surrounding area, nimble enough for the small back roads and enough legs for the motorway. This bike comes with lots of extras; Metal Mule radiator guard, aluminium bash plate, water pump and rear brake reservoir guards, brake pedal extender, Adventure Spec rack, centre stand, heated grips, USB charging socket, Akrapovic dual exhaust and Hepco and Becker engine guards (not currently on bike). As well as all you need to go touring; Givi Outback panniers (lockable) with a cool bag liner, large top box and tank bag. The forks have been upgraded with Hyperpro progressive springs (originals included) and there is a spare shock with a Hyperpro spring also. This bike has had the “Kev mods” done, ie O2 sensor and fuel dongle, it pulls great now and sounds pretty good too! Also included are a Haynes service manual, a few bits and pieces, special tool for front wheel removal, even the original tool kit under the seat, along with lots of receipts and old MOT certs, (I imported it from the UK). All keys are present including red master key. This bike is not in showroom condition but is an honest, ready to go anywhere adventure machine. Text or call any time.
