U-turns, tight junctions, parking areas, heavy traffic and manoeuvring a bigger bike at walking pace can all become hard work if the bike doesn’t feel completely under control. Our Motorcycle Slow-Speed Control Course is a practical training day designed to help you develop better balance, smoother control and more confidence on the bike. During the course we’ll work on: - Clutch and throttle control - Rear brake control - Balance and body positioning - Counterbalancing - Slow riding - U-turns - Figure-eights - Slalom exercises - Tight turns and confined-space manoeuvring - Positive steering and counter-steering - Emergency stopping The course is suitable for newer riders, riders returning after a break and experienced motorcyclists who simply want to sharpen up their machine control. The aim isn’t just to get around a few cones. It’s to give you techniques you can take back onto the road, making everyday situations such as junctions, parking, stopping and starting, tight turns and manoeuvring a heavy motorcycle much easier and more controlled.
