Part time Welder Fitter Repair Technician

Fitter – Welder - Installer - Maintenance Part Time A very respected company 25 years in the sector of industrial equipment installation across Leinster, Connaught and Munster. Role includes but not soley installing equipment, repairs on site, maintenance on sites and repairs following collisions. Ideally suited to candidate that doesn’t want to commit to a full week. We can tailor to 3 day, 4 day week where required depending on synergy between candidate and company. Must have drive and ability to work on own initiative and to get on with others on the team. The capacity to take work orders and complete as per spec without direct supervision is an absolutely essential element of this role and will be examined by interviewing personnel The ability to complete work reports on tablet or smartphone, training provided Region worked is Leinster, Parts of Connaught and Munster. Headquarters is in Westmeath Company Van supplied on completion of satisfactory on-boarding and training, and is responsibility of candidate at all times Handtools are required by candidate, power tools are provided by the company. Some experience in some of the below disciplines would be of a distinct advantage: 3 phase electrical systems, concreting, setting out, hoisting and rigging for lifting, arc welding. Using levels and basic lasers. Hydraulics on power packs, electro-hydraulics. Erecting small steel structures, facade work. Basic carpentry for base shuttering, concrete cutting, use of MEWPS, lifting using telehandlers. Automation, control systems, mills, lathes, and plasma cutters. Essential for the role: Drivers licence with max 6 points. Proficient in Arc Welding and use of Power tools. Ability to work from Scissor lifts Rate depending on Experience 23 euro to 30 euro per hour
