Alpacas

Burren Alpaca is a family run Alpaca Farm in North Clare.  This was one of the first alpaca herds in Ireland.  We have over 25 years’ experience in rearing and caring for Alpacas and we were among the founding members of the Alpaca Association of Ireland.  Our pedigree alpacas are bred from champions around the world including Peru where initially we spent many weeks visiting the biggest Alpaca breeding farms to  source the best animals to bring back to Ireland. Today we have one of the largest herds in the country which consists of white and light fawn Huacayas.  Our alpacas are registered with the Alpaca Association of Ireland, chipped, tagged and fully up to date with vaccinations. We currently have three males for sale, Milo, Murphy and Joe. They are 4 years old and would make great pets if bought together. Could be sold separately as stud males. With our alpacas we offer support and advise on your alpaca journey to ensure it is a wonderful experience for both you and the alpacas.
