At 75 my wife and I have retired from beekeeping and have lots of stuff to sell. The WBC is the ultimate hive: double-walled in cedar, weatherproof, rot-resistant. Perfect for surviving wet winters in Ireland. Also much easier to handle the bees that a National Hive. They also look attractive. Frames are the same size as National hives. New hives cost €600-€900. Ours are not new, but they are very good value and will give decades of service. 1. Complete WBC hive with bees €250.
