ScrubGrubber Scrub Remover

ScrubGrubber – Specialist Vegetation Removal Implement. The ScrubGrubber is a purpose-designed front-loader (or three-point hitch) attachment for the efficient and environmentally friendly removal of invasive and unwanted woody scrub. It is particularly effective on: • Gorse (Furze) • Blackthorn • Whitethorn • Briars • Other dense woody scrub How it works The implement features a set of base tines and individually sprung/pivoting pinch tines. Drive the machine into the scrub so the tines engage the stems near ground level, then lift. The lifting action causes the pinch tines to grip the stems firmly and extract the plant, including a substantial portion of the root crown and root material. Key advantages • Removes scrub by extraction rather than cutting, mulching or spraying • Takes out significant root material, greatly reducing regrowth • Minimal damage to the underlying ground • Helps prevent soil acidification associated with rotting scrub • Extracted material can be removed for chipping, composting or energy use • Environmentally preferable alternative to chemical control or burning Suitable for mounting on agricultural tractors, compact tractors, skid steers and similar machines equipped with a front loader or three-point hitch. We are more than happy to facilitate demonstrations here on our farm in county limerick.
