Oak Coffee Table End Table

This is a beautifully unique handmade oak coffee table. The top is made from a solid 35mm thick single piece of oak. The natural cracks have been filled with jet black epoxy resin which gives it an elegant look and also improves the strength. The view of the live edge can be enjoyed to one side of the coffee table whereas the opposite parallel is partly live edge. After sanding to a final grit of 320, it was treated with two coats of food-safe hard wax oil to give a nice smooth surface and great protection. The U-shaped legs are made from 50x30mm black matt steel. The fixing plates are recessed flush underneath the table top for a more finished and clean look. This table is a once-off piece and therefore completely unique.
