Sonville House Decorative Console Table

This antique beauty got a total revamp and new lease of life and will again stand the test of time. With its rich detailing, gracefully shaped curves and intricate clay embellishments, this piece oozes charm and character. The top is a mixture of decoupage and stencils. I added the embellishments which I made from air drying clay, painted white and lightly stressed with Manhattan Grey. The highlights were done using antique pink wax. Sealed with a matt varnish. A lot of work but so worth it in the end. A truly unique and bespoke creation. Please note, this table came out of Sonville House in Kilkishen ,Co. Clare, an early 17th century gentry home that now sits abandoned. Measuring 30 inches height, 16 inches width, 36 inches length
