Is there a cooler Christmas Present? The Sonic 7 is a “half-scale” children’s car, created by British based racing company JVA as a tribute to the feather weight Lotus Seven sports car. This particular example is one of the original JVA cars making it very collectable. The Sonic 7 is powered by a rear mounted electric start 5.5hp 160cc Honda 4 stroke engine, capable of speeds up to 25mph. There are powerful hydraulic disc brakes to bring the car to a stop. It has a full metal space frame chassis with fibreglass body work, with a removable bonnet and a single woven bench seat with twin harness safety belts. The peddle box, featuring accelerator and brake pedals is fully adjustable so that it can accommodate drivers of different heights. This is a genuine child’s sportscar, a truly unique gift (possibly the only one in the country), it would make a great Christmas present for any junior sports car fan or a fun miniature replica to accompany your Lotus 7, Caterham or Westifeld of indeed as part of a larger collection.
