ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS (rev. 1.04) — dual-socket LGA2011-3 (Intel C612) workstation board. Takes dual Xeon E5 v3 AND v4, 8 ECC DIMM slots (RDIMM/LRDIMM), 512GB maximum. Supports CPUs with TDP >145W, e.g. rare 20-core Intel Xeon E5-2679 v4 datacenter CPUs (200W TDP). High TDP support thoroughly tested with turbo-unlocked Intel Xeon E5-2696 v3 CPUs (18 cores, 3.8GHz turbo, 200W unlocked TDP). Ideal for 3D rendering, virtualisation, a homelab, or a high-core-count workstation on a budget. Single owner (me) since December 2017. Light use only, never run 24/7 — occasional 3ds Max + Corona rendering. No faults, no repairs, ever. Posts and runs perfectly.
