DDR5 16GB RAM (2*8GB) PC Memory

I originally purchased 2 sticks of Laptop memory (SO-DIMMs) and 2 x SO-DIMM to DIMM converters and populated my B650 motherboard and these worked perfectly. I then got greedy and ordered an exact duplication, second pair (to populate all four slots on my motherboard and double my memory capacity). Same manufacturer, same model. However my motherboard refuses to work with all four DIMM slots occupied :-( My motherboard will run fine with either pair of memory sticks installed or mixed with one stick from each pair, perfectly fine. However it just refuses to POST with all four sticks. Therefore I'm going to sell this pair of sticks and use the funds to buy higher capacity SO-DIMMs to replace my current memory before selling the memory installed in my PC. Why am I using laptop SO-DIMMs? Have you seen the price of desktop DDR5 memory sticks?!!!! The only negative that I can see is that the converters reduce the memory speed from 5600 to 3200 but that's fine for the money.
