Description

IOmega IX4-200d NAS & PSU. Was in use until yesterday (9th Oct), drives have now been removed. I believe the max size of SATA hard drive on this unit is 3TB (x4), however I was only running 2TB drives. Drives are not included for sale. The only stipulation I have regarding this unit is that, you will need to use a USB drive to get this to boot for the very first time once you have populated it with drives. The USB is used to copy across the details for it's first boot. All the information can be found online and this is exactly the same as what I had to do (years ago) when I removed the original 500GB HDDs and replaced them with 2TB HDDs. HOW TO: https://vmexplorer.com/2017/09/06/upgrading-or-adding-new-hard-disks-to-the-iomega-emc-lenovo-ix4-200d/ I offer no support doing this, so treat this as spare or repairs. However I can assure you this unit is fully working and I've been delighted using it over the past 20 odd years! Windows 11 users will need to enable TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 but once done this will work flawlessly. Collection only
