Heavy Duty Insulated All-Season Rabbit Hutch – Custom Built (€300) Selling our much-loved custom-built rabbit hutch after the loss of our family rabbit. Our rabbit lived happily in this hutch for the last 5 years, and it was designed to provide a safe, warm and comfortable home throughout the year. This is a very solid, heavy-duty structure that is far superior to most standard flat-pack rabbit hutches. Features: - Large 2-storey design - Spacious ground floor - Upper floor with 2 separate rooms - Wooden ramps connecting both floors - Double-wall insulated construction using insulation foam and reflective silver foil (originally designed for timber flooring insulation) to help keep the hutch warmer in winter and cooler in summer - Additional foam insulation behind the wire mesh sections for improved weather protection - Waterproof roof covered with bitumen felt - Extra polycarbonate roof extension providing a covered porch where rabbits can sit outside while staying dry during rain - Removable cleaning shelf/tray between the two floors, making cleaning quick and easy - Lower right door has been modified by replacing the original wire mesh with a solid nylon board. A removable food basket is attached to this door, so when the door is opened the basket swings outside the hutch for easy refilling without disturbing your rabbit. - Painted exterior (a fresh coat of paint would make it look like new) Included: - Solid concrete paving blocks, used as a stable base to keep the hutch level, dry and off the ground. - Approx 3/4 kg of premium rabbit food (from the original 15 kg bag). - Remaining bags of of timber shavings and straw bedding. Condition: The hutch is in very good structural condition and has always been well looked after. It is a heavy, sturdy construction, so two people will be needed to move it. We're only selling because sadly our beloved rabbit recently passed away, and we'd love to see this hutch become a safe home for another rabbit.
