Description
Guy tried to sell me a fake iPhone 17 Pro Max yesterday. Its a fake phone running android with an iOS skin. Warning signs: Packaging looks legit, but it opens far too easily The power button has a black rubber ring around it. When you power it on, the screen is poor quality. During boot it presents an option under network asking if you want to 'Enable WAPI' - this is only an option on Chinese iPhones. Advertised as 256GB, but it was 1TB and the guy only wanted €1100 ;-) Had a fake Apple receipt that looked nothing like a real Apple receipt with a order number starting with 'W'. Stay safe. Video look at some clones v's real iPhone. There are a few variations. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DO9mvfQklXQ/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWa6whbCFbI Why can't a warning like this be put on DoneDeal for free (which is where this scam originated).
