Reared the old way: milled and fermented organically grown oats and beans with molasses. No commercial pellets, no medications, no chemicals — ever. Out on soil with willow scrub and open ground to root through. It shows in them: strong, shiny coats, not a bother on any of them. Kune Kune cross is the ideal starter pig — hardy, docile, brilliant foragers, low input. Suits smallholders, hobby farms and families wanting a couple of pigs that mind themselves. pigs are social and don’t thrive alone. Minimum two sold together — pairs or groups preferred.
