Great experience at Applied on their Lean Tour. Really helpful to see Lean practices in operation, how every member of the staff is involved, and the difference between their starting point and where they are now on their lean journey. The consistency and confidence they all have in making continuous improvements, small and large is impressive. The productivity statistics speak for themselves, however to walk around the facility and see visually how they operate is well worth the trip. I’d highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in Lean, both manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses. Brilliant tour this morning with kevin and team. Guys at applied concepts are doing amazing things with lean and having great success, which shows with the culture of the employees on doing continuous improvement every day.
