Made by Fransgard in Denmark A camber allows water to run off a road, preventing potholes. Regular grading on unpaved roads to shape, fill & level saves on costly reinstatement work later Big savings from cutting & moving excess material along the track for filling, reducing the need to buy new surface material For cambering, repairing and levelling of farm roads, forest tracks, walking paths, tidying drains & trimming road margins, yard scraping, pushing feed or as a snow plow Also used for sports pitches, sand & wood chip gallops, creating tracks for cross country eventing & motocross / quad tracks with jumps & shoulders The robust DK & DKH models for large farms & professional users have a patented robust slewing ring with replaceable wear discs DK has a manual camber adjustment of +/- 7° (14° total) DKH version has a ram on the headstock to set desired camber on the road +/- 20° (40° total) 1 ram to turn the blade - set blade working angle & swivel blade by 230° Offset ram option to slew the blade to work outside tractor wheel on either side. Mechanical system as standard For initial spreading, levelling & initial compacting, the rear face of the blade is used, the front of the blade is used for cutting, grading and skimming Cutting depth by adjustment on the large swivel wheels. The wheels can rotate 360° for working forwards or in reverse It is much faster & cheaper to camber roads with this grader rather than using track machines & diggers - some Irish road contractors are now using 2 Fransgard graders Several cutting blade options - see photo.
