Managing Director, Billy Moran with the help of his eldest son James established the business in October 2000. Over the past 15 years the business has steadily grown resulting in the setup of a large garage workshop and sales yard in Clontymullen near Legan.Initially Billy Moran &amp; Sons Ltd were known and highly regarded for their expertise and services relating to large excavators, teleporters and all other plant machinery with emphasis on JCB, Hitachi, Merlo and Fiat Hitachi. From the onset, providing a mobile mechanical breakdown service was important to our clients and we have grown this area and now have three fully loaded fleet vans available for repairs on location.In 2014, the business welcomed Billys daughter Avril onto the team along with another mechanic so to help meet the needs of our growing customer list. I used this company to service and send my van for a DOE test over the last two years. It has always been in perfect condition after they check it. I don't have one bad thing to say about them.

Brought my van 3 years ago from james  to set up my business. fantastic service from the start and have always returned for servicing etc.. pleasure to deal with highly reccomend.

I called them to enquire about a service check on a second-hand vehicle in longford, but the person on the phone sounded very irittated to talk. He asked where I am from, I said I am calling from Dublin but the car is in Longford but he asked me to talk to someone in Dublin and asked me 'Why are you calling this number' not letting me finish the sentence. The number was mentioned in their website! Can't believe businesses behave like this to customers/potential customers.
