Fantastic after sales support from Clontrac.  Had an issue with a compact tractor bought 10 months ago and Clontrac was able to get out to us within a few days and repair it on site. Always a pleasure engaging with Thomas and Clontrac.

I bought a finishing mower from Thomas O Dea 11 months ago. I can say that I have got the best of advice and great service from Clontrac. Delivery to my pleasant surprise was the next day as I was under pressure to get grass cut at the time. I have used this mower constantly since then cutting an 8 acre sports facility, I have sharpened and balanced the blades twice and greased regularly, still working on original drive belts. Great machine.

We bought a mini tractor, with accessories from Clontrac 2 years ago. We have been very pleased with the tractor, and the customer support provided by Clontrac. Pricing was reasonable, the indian made mini tractor has exceeded expectations - very useful-  and been reliable. Highly recommend Tom O'Dea and Clontrac in Clonmel for sales and aftersales service!

Well I purchased a Jinma 254 tractor and on the first day jumped out of first high gear and reverse gear  and fuel gauge not working, told that Tom would sort it , that was two months ago. Still waiting. Now tractor is white smoking , the tractor is two months old and not fit for the job , pull your fingers out and sort it Tom.
So far not seen any after sales service.  Yours John
Up date , Tom came out yesterday and sorted the problems that happened in the first day that the tractor arrived , He sent
Up a new injector for me to replace my self a week ago to sort out white smoking  so almost sorted  yours John .

Update.
Well 17 months have passed and 280 hours on the little jinma 254 4wd tractor, starts on the button and runs well now , handles a 1.8 meter finishing mower on the very steep banks very well and I have a great deal of confidence in it . Cracking engine and very economical on fuel , very impressive tractor 🚜 :-)

It's good to see that Clontrac have mostly good reviews and it's a reason we chose to enquire about a new verge/flail mower for our Kubota 25 HP tractor. We explained our needs to the salesperson and they recommended the 1.25 m wide Clontrac flail mower. I paid €2700 and it was delivered a week later. It was evident straight away that the mower was too big and heavy for our tractor.
We explained to Clontrac that their recommendation was wrong and we wouldn't be able to use the mower. We said we would like to send it back and get a refund. After a while they agreed to take it back but they charged us €217.40 for "use of the machine" and €147.60 for transportation.
We feel we have been robbed somewhat of nearly €360 and don't feel we could recommend dealing with this company.
Either the salesperson should admit a mistake in the recommendation, or Clontrac need to study better the capabilities of 25hp tractors.
Ps we also use many other implements with the Kubota and other mowers with no issue.
We are disappointed to say the least.
Hopefully everyone else has a better experience as they seem good enough folk 👍.
