Dream pony

It's time for Poppy to find a new best friend and is now looking for a new small person to love her and go on adventures with. She is 16 years old and we owned her for 11 of those, coloured palamino and white just under 10hh ( I can measure her) and is registered with the International Miniature Horse and Pony Society. The most fun pony who loves going on adventures and will do literally anything for the children and/ or food. She is used to all sorts of animals from dogs and cows to alpacas chickens. We go on all kinds of adventures together. She has been to a few shows and although will stand all day, run around a ring and look gorgeous its not her favourite she much prefers being hairy, dirty and riding around the farm or in the arena. Poppy is a perfect pony for children and stands to be brushed, washed and can be led by anyone. Is ridden almost always on the lead rein, her size stops her from being a first ridden more than anything, when off the lead she just waits for me if I go too far away. Poppy has the patience of a saint and the kindest gentle nature. Turned out in the field with geldings up to 16.2hh never been lame or sore. Does have a habit of escaping on adults and will go absolutely anywhere given half a chance can be found in the tack room and chicken pen on a regular basis. She is not a plod along riding school pony if you ask her she has speed and can jump anything you put in front of her. But super happy at a slow walk or trot. She has sweet itch that can be managed and is reflected in her price. Can be trialled in Co Roscommon we have fields, tracks and an arena. Will only be sold to a family home.
