Emily - 12 hand Welsh Section A

We have owned Emily for 6 years in June of this year. She is our first pony and holds a very special place in our hearts. Due to this, this is a very difficult sale. During her time with us, Emily has mostly done riding club activities including pony day camps, a few XC events at Hazeldene and riding club lessons. We have mostly show-jumped with her, however in her previous home she was a regular at many shows as a lead rein pony. Due to her stunning looks, she was often in the ribbons. Showing is not our world and therefore she has not showed with us. On a XC course, she can be a little unsure to start with but given a little time she builds confidence. Emily has jumped cross poles, 40s and 50s. She has jumped 60 oxers at home but has never competed at this height, as my daughter was more comfortable with 50s. Emily mostly competed at Hagans Croft and Mossvale. She was a winner of the 50cm SJ league last year at Hagans Croft. She is brilliant to clip. She stands with no head collar to clip her face and one person can clip her on their own. She is also excellent for the farrier and loads onto the horsebox like a dream. Emily has always been bare foot. She has just had her feet trimmed. Being a welsh, Emily does have a cheeky side at times and does take her confidence from her rider. She is best kept in regular work. Due to commitments of other ponies and sports, she is not getting as regular work as we would like. She is happy to be clipped on as a lead rein pony and will not put a foot wrong in this environment. Off the lead, she can have a little more character at times and therefore would not be for a nervous child or a beginner. She is up to date with worming and vaccinations. Emily will only go the best of homes in a family yard. Our girls are out growing her and she is too good a pony to stand in the field. Absolutely no dealers. Open to any vetting. She will be sold with her saddle (fitted to her), bridle and rug.
