FOR SALE – DAISY | 13.2hh Coloured Mare (Mid 4 Figures) Daisy is a fantastic 13.2hh coloured mare and a genuine confidence-giver who has been brilliant at bringing on her young rider. Bought for a nervous 12-year-old rider, Daisy has taken her from jumping cross poles to competing at Millstreet and Cavan in 60cm classes. She has been incredibly kind, honest and forgiving, helping her rider build confidence and progress in her riding. Showing: Daisy has spent her summers attending agricultural shows, placing in numerous Family Pony classes and most recently winning her class at Bantry Show against strong competition. Showjumping: Well accustomed to Maryville, Sceilig, Millstreet and Cavan. Daisy takes busy show environments in her stride, isn't one to get spooky and has given us some fantastic days out. She is an honest jumper who looks after her rider and has helped her progress from cross poles to competing at 60cm. Pony Club: Daisy absolutely loved Pony Club! It was her rider's first time attending too, and they came away with an award for Best Newcomers. Daisy is a kind, genuine pony who really looks after her rider. She has been a fantastic confidence giver and has plenty of experience across showing, showjumping and Pony Club. Like every pony, she has her little quirks, which we want to be upfront about. She can get impatient when being washed, so cross-tying works best. She prefers travelling with another pony but will travel alone. She can occasionally take a little longer to load when travelling solo, although a small bit of feed usually does the trick. Daisy has done everything we bought her to do and more. Her rider has sadly outgrown her and has now moved on to the next step with a 14.2hh pony. She has been a much-loved part of our family, and we would love to see her go to a home where she can continue to do what she does best and give another young rider the same confidence and experience.
