QUIET STARTER/ LEAD-REIN GELDING

Scoobie is a chunky black gelding, standing just under 12h and is 13 years old. He is a total pet and an ideal starter pony. For the past 3 years, Scoobie has done Lead-rein Classes at Local Shows with a small, inexperienced rider. Also tagged along in a few Fun Rides. and Children’s Hunt Meets. Prior to this, he was in the same home since a foal and was broken & ridden there. He is now back riding off-lead and is a little rusty but doing his job. Good in traffic and will hack out alone. Scoobie didn’t do any Showing this summer due to a new baby in the house and has put up weight from doing nothing except eating grass, so he needs to slim down! He thankfully hasn’t developed laminitis. No health issues, apart from being overweight….. which can be remedied by a combination of restricted grazing and daily exercise. His teeth were done last year and he was recently wormed and pared. Scoobie is good around children, noise, farm animals, machinery ,other pets and other ponies!
