STUNNING 14.2 BAY GELDING

Ludo is a very handsome boy! He is a Registered Belgian New Forest Pony with full breeding recorded. Life measured with SJI at 147cms and turning 15 this year. He is a gentleman to handle and very friendly. No health issues and passed a full Vetting and X-rays with previous owners. He has excellent flatwork and a snaffle mouth. Straight & correct mover. No vices,blemish or health issues Ludo is a beautiful model of a pony and has an affectionate temperament to match except for a couple of quirks ( hence price)! He goes best for a rider with light hands , who doesn’t use the reins for balance and who allows him to arrive at a jump without too much interference , as he basically has the distances figured out himself! His other only negative is that he will put in the odd stop in a round of jumping, and only at an upright, If it appears too high to him. His record includes double clears at 80/90/1m and also a handful of eliminations due to parting company with the rider at a tall upright. I feel he will go clear all day long at 70/80/90’s with an intermediate rider but will require a competent, confident rider to go clear at a metre and upwards ( which he is well capable of jumping). Please read the previous paragraph again before contacting me! This pony originated in Belgium and scored a good share of his 186 points while competing in the UK, before he came to Ireland . He has only been used for leisure /Pony Club for the past 3-4 years but will still put up Points if not over-faced. He is an ideal Pony-Club/ allrounder / Working-Hunter-type , as he absolutely loves going X-C. Excellent in traffic and a pleasure to take out on a Hack.
