Rare breed friesian chickens: entire flock

PLEASE READ ENTIRE ADD BEFORE CALLING Extremely rare pure bred friesian chicken flock for sale. Stunningly beautiful birds. This is a very rare opportunity to purchase an entire flock of this rare breed which I imported from the UK in 2019. One of the 2 people who I purchased them from in the UK imported them from Holland and paid 400 euro for a trio. The birds I believe are show quality; one man from Donegal showed my birds and the cockerel won reserve champion and hen 2nd place in its class. These are pure bred chickens which lay up to 230 eggs per year and lay over mild winters. They are ideal free ranging chickens as they can fly up to the house roof if they see a fox. I have improved the quality of the breeding stock in the last 6 years. The fertility is high and the chicks are strong and robust. They are an active and intelligent bird that are inquisitive and tame. I have been selling the hatching eggs for the last 5 years and make around 800euro per year. (2.50 euro per egg; demand is high and I post all over Ireland) The birds are: Pen 1: 11 hens and 3 cockerels. 2 of the hens and 2 of the cockerels are late 2024 birds; the rest around 2 years old. Currently all laying to my knowledge. (1 hen currently going broody) Pen 2: 5 hens and 1 cockerel all late 2024 hatched. All laying to my knowledge. Have had intermittent egg eating, but I think it is boredom and they would benefit from a larger pen. Quality of these birds is exceptional. Pen 3: 1 pair of older 2 year old approx. birds. Hen not currently laying as going into moult. Only selling as I am busy with the market garden business. The birds have never looked better.
