USA Silkie & Brahma Chicks

Next hatch 3rd August , now taking orders. Kells Co.Meath Blue/Blue Splash USA bearded day old silkie chicks available. Possibly a few black silkies & naked necks. Parents seen in the last few photos. We are hatching all summer. Silkies are one of the friendliest breeds of chicken. They are small and adorable and love to cuddle! Due to their non- waterproof fluff they can not be out in rainy conditions so a sheltered run would be needed for the bad days. In summer or on a clear day they love running around the garden enjoying fresh air! Silkies are prone to vitamin deficiencies so a vitamin supplement added to their water a couple times a month would hugely benefit them! They’re known for their “fluffy heads” so they appreciate an eye trim to keep their vision clear! Day old Brahma chicks available. Colours are dark, light, buff, patridge, blue patridge. (Some parents in photos) Brahmas are a very hardy breed, they handle cold and bad climates well, they are one of the biggest breeds of poultry so need lots of space! Ideally to free range daily. They have big feathered feet, and known for their calm gentle temperaments, theyre the “golden retriever” of chickens!
