USA Silkie Day Old Chicks

Kells Co.Meath Blue Splash USA bearded day old silkie chicks available. Possibly a few black silkies. Parents seen in the last few photos. This will be our last chicks until next year! Silkies are one of the friendliest breeds of chicken. They are small and adorable and love to cuddle! Due to their non- waterproof fluff they can not be out in rainy conditions so a sheltered run would be needed for the bad days. In summer or on a clear day they love running around the garden enjoying fresh air! Silkies are prone to vitamin deficiencies so a vitamin supplement added to their water a couple times a month would hugely benefit them! They’re known for their “fluffy heads” so they appreciate an eye trim to keep their vision clear
