Stocks manufacture a range of machines designed for the specialist application of small seeds and granular products used in the agricultural, horticultural and amenity sectors. All Stocks machines are designed and engineered for performance, simplicity, and longevity, are powered by the 12 volts DC electrical system of the vehicle and are supplied with a variety of control systems. FAN JET The Fan Jet range of applicators are cost effective and multi-purpose. Product is either gravity fed or metered onto a spinning disc for broadcast application. The spinning disc is driven by a 12v electric motor as standard. A choice of hopper size, spread width and mounting options are also available across all models. ROTOR METER The Rotor Meter (gravity) and Rotor Meter Air Force (fan assisted) applicators are designed to accurately meter and apply seed or granules, ensuring a uniform application rate across the desired working width. Typically integrated as additional applicators on drills and other planting machines, they can be specified with either single, double or triple outlets. The Rotor Meter is commonly mounted to potato planters to deliver sulphur granules and slug pellets. Alternatively, on salad or vegetable crops micro-granular fertiliser is often applied after establishment. On grain drills, the Rotor Meter relies on a Venturi system to feed product (seed, granular products) into the pneumatic distribution circuit of the drill. As a stand-alone machine the Rotor Meter relies on gravity to spread product up to 1.5m. Several Rotor Meters can be fitted to host machines in series. TURBO JET RANGE The Turbo Jet is a versatile and accurate pneumatic applicator and seeder and will deliver product up to 10m working width. The Turbo Jet 8 has eight outlets and the Turbo Jet 10 has ten outlets.
