15' traditional style lugsail yawl cruising dinghy

Traditional style 15’ wood/composite cruising dinghy. The hull is from a Seafly class dinghy. Reason for sale: As age advances I want to calm down a bit and settle for smaller/lighter boats. The good features: • All spars are hollow 100% carbon tubes (ex-windsurfing). The masts and rig has stood up to substantial winds over the last 5 years of sailing now. • Fast, planing style marine ply hull (the Seafly had a very good Portsmouth handicap). laminated with glass/EPOXY on outside. • Traditional bronze and brass fittings, wooden blocks (pulleys)and traditional style ropes. • Boat is set up for easy single-handed sailing. All controls lead to the middle of the cockpit. • Continuous loop type jib furler. • Lazy jack system to allow for quick mainsail lowering. • Weighted anchor, and rode. • 12v system with LiPo battery, USB charge point, switched twin bilge pumps, and NASA depth gauge. • Road trailer and launch trolly combination in good condition, with good 10” tyres. • Flotation airbags all around perimeter of boat. • 6 fenders all also in brown fabric covers. • Very powerful 5HP Haswing Protruar electric motor with 2 x 12v 100aH lithium batteries + charger. Batteries are in marine boxes. • Tiller calming system, with adjustable tension/friction • Spars all fit inside boat for transport (mast is two-piece). • Uphaul and downhaul lines for swinging rudder. These are cleated in a Camcleat 257 auto release tiller cleat. • A pair of 9’ oars, varnished and with tips protected with glass/epoxy. Bronze oarlocks. • Custom tent for snug overnighting. The negatives: • I glued 4 strips 25mm x 25mm on the bottom of the hull. They are cracking a bit on the sides and don’t look too pretty. There is no functional/strength issue. • She leaks a little bit. The double bilge pumps sort that out! • The main halyard is tensioned by a block and tackle. This is not included. • Light board is not included. • Ridge pole for tent and 2 x bed boards not included.
