Description
Reluctantly selling my stunning and completely original RNSA traditional clinker sailing dinghy built in 1967 by Edgar Cove of Salcombe, Devon. Stored inside all it's life and so completely original unmarked mahogany planking on oak frames, keel and stem. A very rare and collectable boat of renown with it's full history from new including original invoice and letters to the family who commissioned her, I am the 3rd owner for the last almost 8 years, the previous keeping her for over 20 years and sailed her on an anual sailing/camping trip on the Shannon Estuary every summer . Traditional red sails, steel centre plate and everything working beautifully, sitting on a snipe trailer. Located in Holywood, Co. Down. A reluctant sale but I just have too many boats. It would cost in the region of £50k to build a boat like this today.
