Hunter 20 Sport (Twin Asymmetric Dagger Board Version) Sail Boat. A Hunter 20 Sport (Previously known as a Red Fox 200s) is the big rig dayboat version of the Red Fox 200 series of yachts, as built by Red Fox & Hunter Boats UK. She was designed by David Thomas (Sigma 33 etc), as a fast stable roomy modern day/trailer sailer with long waterline (plumb bow), twin asymmetric dagger boards, with a modern ¾ fractional rig, fat headed battened main and asymmetric spinnaker on a retractable bowsprit (All the features you now see on the IMOCA 70’s ocean racers). The boat has a very large cockpit (four adults easily per side), and cuddy cabin accommodation. The deck gear is very high specification with twin self tailing sheet winches, a full suite of clutches, rod kicker and a full width traveller. With the boards up (0.3 m draft) and the internal ballast, the boat will dry out perfectly level and is ideally suited for a drying mooring. She is superb for creek crawling, and as the active Red Fox owners group maintains “They can go anywhere that’s wet.” The boat comes fully equipped with slab reef battened main, stack-pack & lazy-jacks, roller reefing Jib, asymmetric spinnaker, battery, VHF radio, wind, log, speed and depth instrumentation, removable steering compass, anchor, warps, fenders and winter cover. A 2 hp Honda 4 stroke outboard motor, and a substantial road trailer is also included, so she makes a perfect trailer-sailer, in sail away condition.
