They say the two happiest days of a sailor's life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it—for me, it’s purely because my inner ear won't cooperate! I had great ambitions but will go back to my kayak. ​This Hunter Sport 20 is an atypical, limited-edition model that I bought to build confidence. Thanks to its twin-keel/daggerboard design, it is exceptionally stable and forgiving. The brand-new electric motor (installed Sept 2025) provides a silent, eco-friendly "bump" of speed when you're learning the ropes. The noisy 2HP engine is still onto there in working conditions. ​Complete with trailer and sails in great condition. She’s currently sitting pretty in Dun Laoghaire Marina and ready for her next adventure.
