Sailing Dinghy - 1969 German Conger

1969 Conger is a German one-design sailing dinghy. 5m in length https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/conger/ https://conger.de/ It is complete with 2 mainsails, 1 jib, sail cover. Comes with a heavy-duty launch trolley. The picture doesn't show a jockey wheel, as I tilt it up over the winter to keep the rainwater draining. Advantages: It's built like a tank! This makes it very stable. We've done capsize practice, and it floats with the cabin entrance above the waterline. It's filled with foam for buoyancy. It's very forgiving. Also, a nice boat to motor around in if the mood takes you. It also has a cuddy-cabin, handy for storage, and you could sleep in it if you like camping. It also has a motor mount. I've used a 3.5 hp motor successfully to get us back when the wind dies. Disadvantages: It's built like a tank! It weighs around 250kg. This makes it very stable but it needs 2 people to move it around on land, and certainly hauling it up the slip. My sailing partner is moving, so I'm changing to a smaller boat. It's also showing its age, hence the price. It could do with a coat of paint and a spruce up, but everything's in working order. I'll give it a wash during the week and update the pictures.
