The display is fully working—video and audio pass through perfectly using the main integrated Thunderbolt cable, so it is ready to plug in and use immediately. PLEASE NOTE: The only flaw is that the secondary old-style MagSafe charging tail on the split cable doesn't output power to charge a laptop.
