Downpatrick Mart Breeding Sheep & Store Lambs Entries: Sheep Sale Saturday 15th August 2026 at 10.30am Breeding Sheep Entries: Entry A: 25 Hogget’s - Comprising of Suffolk * Mules, Suffolk *, Texel * and Dutch Spotted *. To be sold in batches of 2, 3 and 4. Sample photos 2 to 5 attached. All dosed to date and plunge dipped. Entry B: 22 Texel sheep - Comprising of 16 hogget’s, 3 ewes and 3 ram lambs. To be sold in singles and batches. Entry C: 21 Hogget’s - Comprising of 14 Mules and 7 Suffolk *. To be sold in batches. Entry D: 12 Hogget’s - Comprising of 9 Texel + Mules and 3 Suffolk + Mules. To be sold in batches of 3 and 4. Sample photos 6 and 7 attached. Store Lamb Entries: Entry E: 50 Store lambs - To be sold in lots of ten. A mixture of Suffolk *, Cheviot * and Texel * lambs. These lambs will be penned early and will be auctioned shortly after the breeding sheep at the start of the sheep sale. Photos 8 and 9 attached.
