DONEGAL TEXEL BREEDERS PREMIER SALE 22nd AUGUST.

Donegal Texel Breeders Premier sale is being held in Raphoe livestock Mart on Saturday 22nd of August at 12pm with the show starting at 9.30am. There will be 100 rams and 8 females from some of the top flocks in the country. Donegal breeders were on top again at this years premier sale in Blessington with both Supreme champion and Reserve Champion overall. With the Supreme champion ewe from the Larahirl flock of J.Greene going on to sell for a new record 16k and the Reserve Champion a ram lamb from N.Myles Silverhill Flock selling for 33k. Another from the same pen made 12k. There will be brothers of both lambs at this sale. Also young breeder Peter Mclaughlin Isle Flock sold his ram lamb for 8.5k. There will be top quality rams on offer to suit both Commercial and Pedigree Breeders. Rams available from some of the best sires around.
