Imported by us 8 years ago from the UK we have seen an average scan rate of 1.97 and an average weaning rate of 1.75 98% of the ewes lamb unassisted and 99.9% of lambs suck the ewe without being assisted. Mothering and milking ability off grass is exceptional We lamb all our ewes outdoors and without concentrate feeding. These are the pick of 120 lambs from last autumn and have been kept on as shearlings without any concentrate feeding in the winters months. They will last for years Our average carcass weight is 21.5kg They are a purebred breed formed from the New Zealand Texel and Romney breeds 30 years to withstand the pressure lambing of lambing large numbers unattended in New Zealand. We have repeat customers coming back to us every year and can arrange haulage across the country. Ram lambs and 2 stock rams also available.
