Open Day Irish Texel 6th June

North East Club Opening Evening – 50th Anniversary Kick-Off! The Society is delighted to support the North East Club Opening Evening, taking place on 6th June on the farm of Micheal and John Donohoe. This exciting event marks one of the first gatherings to officially launch the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Irish Texel Sheep Society, making it a very special occasion for members and farmers/supporters alike. The evening promises to be a fantastic social event, packed with valuable insights and activities, including: Stock Judging led by Alex Clarke and Michael McHugh Show Preparation Demonstration by Aaron McPhilips Meal Feeding for Showing talk by Samuel Richie Mineral Nutrition Talk by Mark O’Rourke (Growvite) The event will also feature a BBQ and music, coupled with the renowned hospitality of Texel breeders, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone attending. Annie Mcguinness will also be in attendance with Gra. With an excellent line-up of speakers and demonstrations, it’s set to be an informative and memorable evening for all involved. We look forward to seeing a great turnout as we begin celebrating this milestone year for the Society.
