Sheep Ireland Elite €uroStar Multi-Breed Ram Sale 2026 Ireland's premier multi-breed sheep breeding event takes place on Saturday, 22nd August 2026 at Kilkenny Mart, Co. Kilkenny (R95 A4VP). Viewing begins at 9:00am with the sale commencing at 10:30am. Over 500 elite performance-recorded rams from 10+ lowland breeds will be offered for sale through three sale rings. All rams entered in the sale must meet strict Sheep Ireland entry requirements, including: 5-Star on the Replacement and/or Terminal €uroStar Index DNA parentage verified Genotyped with Sheep Ireland genomic evaluation Scrapie Type 1, 2 or 3 Physically inspected and approved Sheep Improvement Scheme (SIS) eligible Entered from flocks with a Data Quality Index (DQI) of 85% or higher and that are genetically linked flocks.
