Suffolk, SuffTex and Texel Shearling Rams

Five grass fed Suffolk, two Suffolk Tex and a three quarter Texel shearling rams. Summered on hill at 1000ft and only offered once a day concentrate since 1 August. All sired by Jalex rams out of Bessiebell bred ewes. Pics of sires attached in yellow dye. Ram selection is based on New Zealand principles. I try to lamb outside but this is weather dependent. Only the best 25% of rams are kept. No ram lambs are sold as lambing mostly in April with no creep offered. Selection is focused on mothering ability and natural fleshing at grass. These rams have never been housed and will not melt when run on grass. All visitors welcome. Rams are priced around £1000.
