Mackie Control Universal Pro Bought as new, one owner only. This is an eight channel master control unit for recording, mixing and editing with your software. This unit connects to your computer via USB or Midi cable. cables not included. It is an expandable eight track Digital Audio Work Station (DAW) for that ‘hands on’ feel of analog-style. Three Extension Mackie units can be added to this 8 track unit to make a 16, 24 or 32 recording track desk. For example, Mackie XT Pro eight channel control surface extensions can be added to this unit. However, you need this unit, the Mackie Control Universal Pro to drive the extension units. (See photo on quick start guide indicating extension unit). There are two issues with this unit: 1. The jog wheel is not working. 2.Some LED's on the numerical counter are blown. However, the unit works via USB connection to your computer, so mouse scrolling on the computer screen is easier and faster than the jog wheel. The digital numerical counter will be available to read from your computer screen. Therefore, this is a very workable and reliable unit to be experienced and enjoyed. There are a ton of features in this unit. Assigning memory read / write volume controls to your faders during the recording and editing processes; and then sitting back and watching them slide into action throughout your recording is an immersive and tactile experience of both analog and digital worlds. All motorized faders are in excellent working order.
