This is a hand crafted banjo. The neck is from a vega banjo ,and is over 100 years old. The rim is turned from wooden blocks, maple and mahogany. Which are the best tone woods. The 3 piece wythe ladie tone ring is imported from Rickard Bajos in Canada . It cost 200Euros with postage Vat and Irish Customs Duty. This is a 17fret short scale tenor. Which makes it an ideal banjo for Comhaltas lessons.
