It is fitted with Spirocore strings, which are a premium set of strings costing approximately €120–€150 on their own. The semi-solid cello case is also in excellent condition and originally cost approximately €300. This is a great complete package for a student looking for a good-quality instrument without having to buy the cello, case and strings separately. Our daughter learned and progressed on this cello and successfully completed her Grade 5 exam on it, so it is a proven instrument for a student progressing beyond the beginner stage.
