The "Special Edition" though, brought Vega's professional level nickel plated flange hardware and tailpiece along with a solid maple "pie crust" resonator adding even greater projection and playability. Despite its power and distinctive Vega tone this banjo is light in weight so ideal for travelling and sessions and would also be an ideal "vintage" instrument for a beginner.
