3/4" Carvers Skew Chisel by Addis

A rare woodcarvers chisel made in Sheffield by JB Addis in very good condition. The cast steel blade is clean and very sharp, stamped on one side "JB Addis & Sons, Sheffield", on the other " 9 Prize Medals, 51 & 62" This refers to the 1851 Great Exhibition at the Crystal Place , London. and dates this tool to 1879.
